Micha Ashkenazi, an archaeologist and tour guide from Jerusalem, founded Bible Oriented Tours as a company devoted to bringing pilgrims to the many lands of the Bible, including Greece, Turkey, Jordan, Egypt, the Sinai, and Israel. Since 1958 Micha (a seventh generation native of the Holy Land) has organized and guided hundreds of tours, pilgrimages and archaeological seminars. He administrated the excavations in Caesarea by the Mediterranean Sea, Avdat in the Negev, and Tiberias by the Sea of Galilee. His award winning style, enthusiasm and humor, his dedication, passion for details and eagerness to serve make Micha uniquely qualified to be our guide to the Holy Land.
